Jonathan Josell has produced, written and directed more than one thousand hours of content for studios, corporations and live events. In 2020 he produced the live steam and video elements for the Yeezy Season 8 fashion show in Paris, as well as Kanye West's Operas at Lincoln Center, the Hollywood Bowl and in Miami during Art Basel. From 2019-2020 he produced and directed more than 20 live streams for Sunday Service at arenas across the US, including four shows at the Forum. He also produced the Kanye West film Jesus Is King for IMAX, shot at Roden Crater in AZ.
In 2018 Jonathan wrote, produced and directed Extraordinary: The Stan Lee Tribute at the Saban Theater. Starring Stan Lee and featuring nearly two dozen celebrity tributes, the live show was streamed in to over 250 theaters. In addition to Extraordinary, Jonathan has produced, directed and frequently moderated Q&A's featuring A-list talent including Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee, Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg, John David Washington, Mindy Kaling and Chris Pine. He is noted as the first person to live stream from theater to theater using IP-only connections. Jonathan also produced and rewrote Ambushed for HBO, produced Contempt of Court for Showtime, and has co-written six scripts that have sold to studios.
