Rob's professional career started with the Melbourne Symphony at the age 19. He has been a concertmaster/leader throughout Australia and Japan, where he has worked with artists such as Hugh Jackman, Elton John, Kiri te Kanawa, Placido Domingo, Tina Arena and Natalie Cole, and he has lead orchestras for musical productions such as Wicked, Chicago, The Producers, The Lion King, Les Miserables and The Sound of Music.
Rob has composed and produced music in a variety of situations including "Luminous" for the Australian Ballet's 50th anniversary at the Lincoln Center in New York City, 22 scores for documentaries and a number of feature films. He has also orchestrated and conducted scores on numerous other film productions and recordings.
He lives in Australia and works from his studio near Melbourne.
