- Ria Jende was born on October 29, 1898 in Brussels, Belgium. She was an actress and producer, known for Madeleine (1919), Die Präriediva (1920) and Versunkene Welten (1922). She died on December 7, 1948 in Hadamar, Hesse, Germany.
- She took part in many movies till the begin of the 20's.
- The actress Ria Jende made her film debut already with the movie "Das Stelldichein der Verehrer" (1912) and "Problematische Naturen" (1913), but it took four more years till she had her way in the film business.
- In 1919 Jende started her own film company, Ria Jende Film. She produced Madeleine (Siegfried Philippi 1921) with Hermann Valentin, and Versunkene Welten (Siegfried Philippi, 1922) with Victor Varconi, but her company was short-lived.
- The German-Belgian actress appeared in 40 films, before she married and retired.
- During the production of Nixchen (Paul Legband, 1919), starring Georg Alexander, Ria Jende met author and scriptwriter Franz W. Koebner who became in 1922 her husband.
