Alison Raine

Alison Raine, aka Alison James, was born in Rangiora, New Zealand in 1971. She is a New Zealand and Canadian actress, best known for her roles as Nurse Tiffany Pratt Warner Marinovich in the soap opera Shortland Street. In 1990, She gained a B.A Hons in English Literature and attended Toi Whakaari (The New Zealand Drama School) in 1991. Other film and television credits include:- A Heavenly Christmas (2016) The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story (2014), Supernatural (2011) and Flatmates (1998)
In 1998, She moved to London, UK, where she worked as an actress, assistant director and director in theatre for the Southwark Playhouse, under the Artistic Director, Erica Whyman, as well as for the Garsington Opera Festival (2000). In 2001, she emigrated with again to Vancouver, Canada. There she continued to work as an actress, voice over artist, short film and theatre director. Since 2008 she has taught acting at the Vancouver Film School, where she is now a Senior Instructor for the Acting Essentials and One Year Programme.
She lives with her 2 teenage sons, 2 cats and an autism support dog, called Andy.
