He is the son of the artist/designer Olga Lehmann and writer Carl Richard Huson.

Also author of a series of books on the occult and paranormal, the latest being "Mystical Origins of the Tarot," (2004).

His frequent collaborator and life partner for 49 years was William Bast, until Bast's death in 2015.
