- Fantasia - worked extensively on the mushrooms in the "Chinese Dance" sequence. He apparently re-drew nearly the entire sequence in response to changes requested by Walt Disney after an earlier version was complete.
- He and Jay Ward were close friends all the way up to Ward's demise. Ward, apparently, was a painfully shy man and Bill was one of the few people with whom he continuously socialized.
