Juan Rulfo's books to screen adaptations
Juan Rulfo was brief but concise. His works, say those who say to know, have all gone from the book to the screen. "Pedro Paramo" has a handful of adaptations, "para un mocho"; including the highly anticipated Netflix production directed by Rodrigo Prieto. "El Gallo de Oro", born for the screen and portrayed in two stages and styles of Mexican cinema. New tales of "El Llano en Llamas" seem to appear even after his passing along with their films. One would say "he is dead but not."
