- DirectorDaniel FahreStarsBjørn SundquistJon ØigardenFridtjov SåheimBlücher is a film about Colonel Birger Eriksen's role during the most dramatic hours in Norwegian history. It's a suspenseful drama about the biggest decision in the colonel's career. The decision had consequences for the course of the war in Norway, as well as personal consequences for Eriksen after the war. Set against the backdrop of April 9th, 1940, a night etched in history, the aging 64-year-old colonel is in command of Oscarsborg Fortress, a critical choke point that all ships must navigate on their approach to Oslo. Eriksen faces severe manpower shortages, a lack of critical information, and the absence of clear military directives. With the world's most formidable military force bearing down, his only counsel is his own judgment. Emerging from the fog on the morning of April 9th are several unknown warships. Eriksen orders fire from all the fortress' combat units. The German warship Blücher sinks a few hours later. In retribution, the Luftwaffe launches a relentless bombardment on Oscarsborg. In a fortified tunnel, Eriksen, his daughter afflicted by polio, and the island's military and civilian residents find themselves trapped for a grueling 10-hour bombardment. Ultimately, Eriksen surrendered the fortress to the German forces. The sinking of Blücher proves pivotal, stalling the Oslo invasion by vital hours, facilitating the escape of the King and government, and safeguarding Norway's gold reserves-all thanks to a 64-year-old on the cusp of retirement. While the outcome of the battle is well-known in Norway, the film delves into the lesser-known post-war trials of Eriksen. Confronted by a military commission, he must defend his actions against criticism for his early surrender of the fortress. Eriksen must fight a battle for fame and honor. The film combines two story lines and thus becomes both an exciting war film and a thriller intertwined.

- DirectorKristina SeryoginaStarsElena ChubinaOleg ParmyonovMikhail SalinThe action takes place in 1942 in Nazi-occupied territory. Among the forests and captured villages of Smolensk region, the main characters of the film - a Soviet girl and a German young officer-have to make the main choice in their lives - to be or not to be a human? The tragedy of human destinies is shown against the background of a global catastrophe-the war is not black or white but rather "gray" and universal tragedy: even among the enemies there may be a good person amd among ours - a traitor. And this is not an attempt to revise history from the perspective of fashionable in the West revisionism. The main criterion is humanity-for the twenty-FIRST century covered by armed conflicts, the concept is more than relevant.
