RinJyuDen, the evil Jyuken school led by Rio, turns the city into chaos by gathering people's screams and despair. Opposing them are the Gekirangers, who fight in justice to protect. Although they are still in training, they do not give up until they master the jyuken. Once they get stronger, Rio, who seeks the ultimate power, challenge them to find out who is the strongest in jyuken.

Three thousand years ago, the Space Pirates Barban invaded Earth. The Star Beasts and the first Gingamen, warriors of the Ginga Forest, fought them with a mystical power known as Earth and eventually imprisoned them. In the present day, Hyuuga, Hayate, Gouki, Hikaru and Saya are chosen as the 133rd warriors of the Star Beast Swords. After an earthquake breaks the seal that held Barban is destroyed, Barban attacks them to prevent the birth of the new Gingamen. During the battle, Hyuuga is swallowed into a crack in the ground created by the Barban's leader, Captain Zahab. Enraged, Ryouma (Hyuuga's younger brother) activates his hidden Earth power and awakens the Ginga Braces. The Gingaman fight together with the Star Beasts against the Barban, who desire to revive the Demon Beast Daitanix, on whose corpse they built their castle.

Twenty thousand years ago, the Fairy race was known to of aided humans in battle against the Boma Tribes. After what seem like a never ending fight, the Boma Tribes were sealed away by the combined forces of the fairies and humans. Upon their new responsibility they must balance their days of fighting with their regular school lives, in order to defeat the Boma Tribes.

The Dark Science Empire Desdark launches its scheme for world conquest from their Destopia Castle in Germany. Dr. Hideki Hongo, founder of the Future Science Laboratory, is saved from one of their attacks by world class explorer Kenichi Akama. Using his Computer Boys and Girls, Hongo recruits five people, including Kenichi, to form the Dai Sentai Goggle-V (Goggle 5), the only force capable of stopping Desdark.

Unknown to the people of Earth, there is a branch of humanity called the Gosei Angels whose mission is to protect the Earth. When the Earth is targeted by an evil alien invasion force called Warstar, they destroy the Heaven's Tower, the bridge between the Earth and the Gosei World, home of the Gosei Angels, to keep them from interfering. 65 million years ago, the knights of the Ryusoul Tribe were selected to participate in a war campaign against the dictating Druidon Tribe who sought to rule Earth. But the Druidon's war campaign was halted by the meteor that brought the age of the dinosaurs to an end, forcing them to flee into space. Meanwhile, the Kishiryu were placed in a deep sleep as a failsafe should the Druidon return. The chosen knights choose to live in peace while passing their mantle down across generations. In the present day, the Druidon return to reclaim Earth as the current generation of knights, the Ryusoulgers, battle them with the support of Ui Tatsui and her father Naohisa Tatsui.

In the 30th century, time travel has been outlawed. To insure the prevention of time paradoxes, the Time Protection Department a.k.a. the TPD was established to prevent further time crimes. When four enlisted TPD cadets were tricked by a mafia family called the Londers in letting them travel to the year 2000 A.D. to commit crimes, the four cadets must also travel to the year 2000 to take down the Londers as the Timerangers. The four recruits are only able to commence their mission when there is five rangers in the team. So they forced a martial artist from the year 2000 named Tatsuya Asami to become the fifth ranger. While stationed in the 21st century, Tatsuya rents a building for the other four rangers as a means of housing and running a small business called Tomorrow Research, With five rangers patrolling the city, the Londers family will not stand a chance against them.

Six giant vehicular beings called Engines chase down three Pollution Ministers' from the Barbaric Machine Clan Gaiark from the Engine's home world to Earth. The six Engines manage to pursue them, selecting five humans to become their partners, the Go-ongers. The team are joined by Go-on Wings and their Wing Engines, as well as the Ancient Engines, as they all together battle the Gaiark as well as other evil villains from other Braneworlds.

Five employees representing the "Pegasus Auto Garage" make a close encounter with an alien named Dappu of the planet Hazard. Dappu empowers the five earthlings with "Kurumagic" which grants them the power of the five legendary car constellations. This newly granted power has given the five garage workers the ability to become the Carrangers as a way to halt the law breaking space bikers known as the Space Bosozoku Bowzock.

A government agency called INET created a video game to select five highest scoring individuals that will stop an evil force known as the Nejirejia. One of the highest scoring individuals was teenager Date Kenta. Unfortunately, INET was forced to give the Digitizers to Kenta and four of his friends after an attack by Nejirejia on one of the offices
