Boring at best

The lives of four people intersect in Mumbai: a washer-man who wants to become an actor, a banker-turned-photographer, a painter looking for inspiration, and a newly-married immigrant who journals her experiences on home video.

An unknown virus begins spreading and within weeks it engulfs the entire planet. Upon the death of its host, the virus would reanimate the corpse until it was no longer able to support itself. Soon, the planet was infested with the undead.

In the early 1900's, a new invention (and one of the very first uses of the electric motor) was created to address the 'problem' of women's hysteria. These devices immediately became an essential household appliance, and were advertised in nearly every women's magazine and sewing notions catalog of the time. 70 Years later, these appliances were condemned as 'perverted sex toys,' and became the subject of heated debate among lawmakers. In California, Texas, and several other states, conservative politicians successfully waged legislative campaigns to outlaw and prohibit the sale, ownership or use of vibrators and dildos while simultaneously criminalizing other 'deviant' sexual practices. Although a number of these laws have been overturned by legislatures or the courts, in the State of Texas freedom fighters are still working to eliminate these absurd and unnecessary laws. Dildo Diaries takes a lighthearted but 'probing' approach to exploring the development of sections of the Texas Penal Code and its effects on the adult sex toy industry. Combining historical documentation, personal stories, and interviews with noted experts and legislators, this documentary honors the dildo's fight for legitimacy and its many admirers.

Structured as four stories and set in Vancouver, we follow four individuals going through hard times, trying to find their way through life. But it's a bumpy road with problems and addictions lurking around each corner. As each tale unfolds we begin to learn how directly or indirectly each person affects one another. TK, is a lost soul, addicted to drugs and unable to remember anything about himself, including his own name. On their way to score, TK makes eye contact with a stranger passing by in a car, who ends up jumping out and chasing after him and his friends. The junkies get away, but not before the stranger shouts "Tom!" leaving a bewildered TK full of questions and now on a search for answers. Bryan is a grade eleven high-school teacher obsessed with one of his students, Karen. Knowing full well of the risks and ramifications if he acts on his urges, he begins searching for excitement in all the wrong places. Will Bryan cross the line? Alice, a prostitute, is addicted to drugs and simply waiting to die. Her child waits at home with her careless, drug addicted, pimp boyfriend. What does a woman do that's been forgotten by society and made poor choices her whole life? Last is Karen, the student Bryan is obsessed with. She appears to have everything. She's beautiful, smart, and hangs with the in crowd. But we quickly learn nothing's as it seems.
