A bold attempt to play with the tradition of rural people in Malaysia

A brave attempt to show local traditions and the way people in small Malaysian villages live and think. Although this story has elements of humor, but I still find it uninteresting.

I watched this movie only because it won awards back then. But the expectation did not reach the level that the titleholder should give.

There is no wow factor in the story. Story lines are just like storytelling. So I feel bored and sleepy. Maybe I was hoping for much better quality plot?

Or maybe this story is actually from 2014, but I just watched it now in 2023, so I cannot compare it to the current movie era, is it?
