For once, a tv series that Afrikaans speaking individuals and South Africans as a whole can be proud of. The story telling is profound. The visuals compelling and honest. Truly a masterclass in what our stories look like in the hands of capable filmmakers.
As someone who is not only a complete cinephile, but a working producer in the industry - I believe this is one of the best out there. This project stands alone amongst the rest of the garbage that is produced for audiences in our country.
I hope to see more of this type of content! More stories with this type of conviction and earnest intention.
