Zorro (2024) took eight months to shoot, from July 2022 to February 2023, in the Canary Islands. Cameras shot in the municipalities of Las Palmas, Arucas, Gáldar, San Bartolomé de Tirajana and Telde, as well as in Del Nublo Park and the Tejera volcanic basin. The Sioux City Park on the island of Gran Canaria, meanwhile, was closed to the public for the duration of filming, in order to build the main sets and shoot part of the series. The Sioux City Park location is a western theme park in Gran Canaria, where other films have been made such as La parola di un fuorilegge... è legge! (1975) and Perímetro Cero (2017).

Zorro 2024 Worth the watch

As one who has been a fan of Zorro since the Walt Disney version, and definitely a fan of the Banderas movies, this interpretation isn't bad at all.

The inclusion of the Native American and the strife they endured is definitely a new twist. The scene settings and location shooting were top notch.

The storyline was intriguing to say the least, the acting on the other hand wasn't Oscar worthy, yet it was very tolerable and enjoyable.

All in all the series was an entertaining experience. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

I rated it 7 stars, I wouldn't mind seeing a second season.
