I don't know how I feel about this new "choose your own adventure" format. I will say that the romantic comedy and maybe a mystery are the two genres that might lend themselves to this format.
I watched two different endings to this romance, one where Cami ends up with perfect Paul and the other where she ends up with rocker Rex, which I don't feel is much of a spoiler since I assume there is also an ending where she ends up with the one that got away Jack. I can't say I had strong feelings about either ending or any of the characters really. Which leads me to what I think was lost in this "choose your own adventure" format...time wasn't spent developing the characters or their romance. It left everything feeling flat and cliched. Maybe the film needs to be longer in order to develop the romance and still allow you to make choices? Either way this film suffered versus benefitted, coming across as very juvenile and unfinished.
I think it was a cute film to try out this new format on, so if you just want to see how the choose your own adventure works...this is an easy no brainer way to do it, but otherwise this is not a recommendation from me.
I did like a couple of Cami's wardrobe pieces, particularly that great yellowy orange she wore.
