Miriam Mercado got her inspiration for this film while she was starving at the opening night party of the Morelia International Film Festival in October 2009, after going into the opening film with an empty stomach. She kept asking for food at the party, but they only gave her drinks, and she got so hungry that eventually the idea for this short film came to her head.
