Una calda estate

I watched this movie as it was labeled a "comedy". Somehow I think there was nothing funny about it. It wasn't deep enough to actually be a drama, so somewhere in between drama and comedy; "dramedy"? haha

The story of the movie was nice though, and you could easily immerse yourself into the roles and plot. However, the movie was very predictable, and as a guy I must say, mostly intended for a female audience. The movie did take up a couple of interesting points and aspects of life situations.

The cast was good, although I am fairly unfamiliar with them all, except for Casper Van Dien - whom seemed so out of place wearing a suit and having this role.

This movie was sort of a Latina approach to the "Sex and the City" genre. Not a bad movie at all, just not really within my normal range of taste.

I think this movie is perhaps best watched together with your special one for a night of romance and quality time together, or for girls to watch on their own. But of course, to each his (or her) own.
