I've been catching up with many features made by Brit pornographer Amory Peart, and they have one distinct trait: rank amateurism.
His specialty is that dreaded genre: porn-parody, and he makes the popular Chatsworth variety seem competent by comparison.
This ripoff of the French comic turned Jane Fonda hit of yesteryear steals familiar tropes: Jamie Barry in the winged-angel role made famous by John Philip Law and Tony James uncharacteristically hammy in the Duran Duran role, rechristened here Wankhand Wankhand.
Pretty Syren Sexton takes the title role, heading to the planet Saga to thwart an evil plot against Earth. Sex on earth is no longer physical, but Syren enounters folks in outer space who still do a bit of the old in & out, and she orgasmically enjoys interacting with them.
It's all staged on crummy studio sets suitable for a high school production, as are most of Peart's other Television X movies (though Poledick is a bit better with its wigs and period costumes).
And not surprisingly Peart falls back on porno's lamest device, ending the show with a boring orgy.
