Hisho no kagami

This is a 12 episode drama/comedy from Japan about a secretary who in every episode becomes the secretary for another company (like a temp) and eventually uncovers some wrongdoings and does something about it. Unbeknownst to her, this is the goal all along, as the agency is a covert operation to weed out these people who are trying, through greed mostly, to undermine Japan business (in the U.S., this show could go on for decades!). The lead actress playing Kagami the secretary is Megumi Yasu, who is the right amount of sweet, clumsy and intelligence, playing a character who is clueless to the reasoning behind each new position she fills.

. Megumi Yasu is also very pretty and sexy, with great legs (she is always wearing short skirts). She falls in love every episode with someone in the firms she "infiltrates", as she is a romantic and is looking for Mr. Right. How anyone can refuse her is beyond me but that's part of the fun. I believe Megumi Yasu was voted "Most Marriageable" in Japan and, watching this, it is not hard to figure out why. The only real complaint, and its not a large one, is that the subtitles are sometimes inconsistent. However, you can look beyond that and enjoy this immensely. Its easily available and worth your while. I think Megumi Yasu will continue a path to be a truly great actress, as well as a vastly appealing one. Watch these episodes as if you're watching a series, one a week, and you'll get maximum enjoyment out of it. Highly recommended.
