The stars of The X Games over the years have been Tony Hawk, Andy MacDonald, Travis Pastrana, Shaun White, Danny Way, Bucky Lasek, Bob Burnquist among many others. Every year the competitors at the X Games seem to take the level of competition to a higher level just when you thought they can't possibly do anything to top last years achievements.
Prior to the invention of The X Games there was no major platform on national TV for these athletes to show their stuff.
