Beautiful, hopeful, inspiring

This film allows us to see the positive impact of music and community on young lives. Drumming is the heartbeat that connects identity, culture and history and gives purpose to those learning, and those teaching. We witness poignant moments of joy, sadness, celebration and humor. It opens the door for important conversations about African American representation. A wonderful film.
