I had the opportunity to catch this short film at the Lebanese International Film Festival. It is safe to say that it stood out from the rest of the movies presented at the festival. The audience was kept on the edge of its seat throughout the entire movie. You could hear a pin drop, as everyone's breath was taken away by the thrill and anticipation the movie portrayed so well. Caroline, the female lead, portrayed the distraught wife and protective mother so well, her eyes showers the screen with deep emotions. You could feel the father's pain and anger, as Said Serhan conveyed such a convincing overflow of feelings. But the star of the movie was the little boy. You can clearly see, as the story progresses, the innocence slowly stripped away from him, as the look in his eyes, and the way he carries himself, shifts from this little naive boy, to someone forced to grow-up virtually overnight. Great experience overall, and a must see movie!
