I saw this movie at the Latino Film Festival back in 2005 and I have to say it was painful to watch. The first thing I noticed was at the bottom of the screen it's stated the month August and everyone in the movie is wearing leather jackets, hooded sweaters, skully hats or winter coats. What the hell is that all about? A lot of the acting was like one of those really bad late night movies that you catch yourself watching at 3am out of boredom. The only actors that knew what they were doing were Gloria Irizary (mother to both Toni & Carlo) Diana Forero as Toni and Nicole Mc Cree as Jessica. They were the only reason why I didn't walk out of the theater. The rest of the actors should have just read their scripts on camera then maybe they could've put more thought & feeling into what they were trying to accomplish. Marc Anthony as Carlo (He's not famous or related to great salsa singer Marc Anthony) is overly dramatic. For example there's a scene when he starts crying and yelling like a wild animal that was completely over the top. I almost busted out laughing. There's a reason why this movie has never had the privilege of being aired on cable at 3am and it's also not available on DVD.
