The Biskitts

This was a cartoon that was part of the USA Network's Sunday Morning Cartoon express. The Cartoon revolved around a group of small Dog-like creatures called Biskitts that protected a royal treasure from an evil king. Sub-Plots involved a tiger type creature that wanted to eat the Biskitts. In retro spec the cartoon seems to me to have a similar plot to that of the Smurfs. Overall was a good cartoon, Not as good as say the Shirt Tales, who were also on the Cartoon express. I enjoyed the cartoon when I was younger and still have a few episodes on VHS. I don't believe the series ran that long and I don't believe that many people will have remembered this cartoon as cable TV was not as common in the early 80's. I'm not sure if this series ran on any of the big 3 networks on Saturdays.
