Atkins' animation is fantastic! considering this is a one-man-band job from start to finish, the detail and expressiveness of the characters and location is quite marvelous. i enjoy a little dry, "punny" humour every now and again, and this script is chock full of such quips.
the film is extremely short, and emotionally non-involved, but it definitely gives its audience a look into the creative (and messy) mind of an up-and-coming writer/animator.
3-D animation is a medium that gives a director such unique control over his or her storytelling, more than any other format, and Atkins shows his knack for telling a story even in this short first film of his.
