The film tells the story of a young couple who run away from home. They came to a small village near a big garbage dump. The dump is still growing and slowly buries the village.
The water, the air, the fishes and the vegetables are all poisoned from the rubbish. The inhabitants know this but forget about it and eat and drink everything as there is no problem.
Their only interested in the problems between each other and have no eye on the important environmental problems around them.
At the end the inhabitants fight each other but do not want to go away. The young couple risks an escape, climbs up the wall of the dump an runs into the sun, leaving this strange place.
This is a movie you can think of long time. Like the Monthy Python movies everything is excessive but it shows our normal life, as we ignore our environment, oil, .. problems. Look around and you will see associate scenes of this movie.
I saw this movie twice in German Television.
