HOMEBOYS is a ghastly "movie" about youths running with street gangs. An uncle of mine has a friend who always had screener videos on hand. We watched this travesty together and I could hardly contain my laughter. The film starts off with a crappy, third generation video credits along with pixeled images that slowly focus to a 40 year old man being initiated into a youth street gang (he must have been fullfilling a childhood dream). The "movie" continues to go down a slope from then on. Mediocre directing, junior high school acting, OUR TOWN sets and no f/x budget make this one a loser. The film's production value reminded me of a Public Access Show or a cheap Chrisitan Film. Check out Todd Bridges (he receives top billing on the video and on screen) strecthing out his fifteen minutes of fame that ran out fourteen minutes ago. I give this movie 0. It's so bad that it belongs in the dust bin. Unworthy of a grade. Has no value as a party film either. BAD. This movie will break your VCR. Honest injun.I believe Mr. Bridges was completed his Community Service Duties by participating in this film.
