A young man suffers of insomnia. The help is an experimental medicine , with strict interdictions. Interdictions, off course, easy ignored by patient , not so clever, with fragile psychic structure and limited language. And the result is not surprising.
Like every film by Travis DeLaurier, it is more than a horror, working as well warning against addiction by TV, smartphone and connections with other, by the supperficiality making us more than vulnerable and the tough difficulties to communicate your fears to other.
So, a film using a terrible state for larger message. With more than decent result.
