Is pacing everything? Well if that is the case or that is how you perceive them, be very aware that this is as slow as it can get. With strolls, with eating ... with quite a few mundane "real life" moments put inside this. A cynic may say to bolster the running time, to make it an almost 90 minute feature. But I'm sure the intention of the filmmakers were to drag us into the mindset of its two main characters by showing us their life - up close and personal (literally).
I didn't stop the time, but until the first real dialog is spoken, a lot of time passes. So you may feel annoyed that I mention this and it may seem repetetive to what I wrote above, I just want to be clear and make you aware of what you are about to embark. The movie overall may be subtle and relaxed/slow, but it does have a bang waiting at the end. If it is all worth it (no pun intended), will be something you have to decide. Also this is not made to excite you in certain ways. There's no real nudity to speak of here and while there are sexual situations they are not shot in a way that are likely arouse you. Full disclosure - then again there are other places to find such things. Don't blame or rate the movie based on that
