I've never heard Demetri before but with the Greek name i figured I'd give him a chance. The first thought i had was that he could pass as Gilligan. His humor is alot more subtle than your typical comedian. I couldn't figure out if he was trying to pass as a teenager with that nerd outfit but at one point he talks about being 30 in past tense. So that definitely threw me off. I think he needs to reinvent his look. I'm actually just making small talk here because were now required to write huge paragraphs. Bananus. That is so funny for some reason. Also Technolgy-American. He had some semi-profound ideas mixed in with a whole lot of simple sarcasm. One reviewer made a point to say there was no s-ex jokes but i guess they missed the alphabet portion.
Sometimes the best thing you can say about a comic today is that he didn't make you mad or feel bad about your culture. Demetri gets points for those. I didn't have any big belly laughs but had some good hard giggles. He talks about things a lot of people can identify with. Over all, i would watch him again and that's a big compliment because there are definitely comics we put on our Never Again list. I honestly can't figure out why my reviews are so frequently declined since I'm not going against any of their increasingly complex rules. All I'm doing this time is removing the hyphen between the banana joke word and we'll see if that satisfies their moral compass.
