The film was shot in an afternoon in April 2013, in Johan's apartment on a zero budget. Linnea, who had written the script and cast her little brother Josef to play the son, paid him with hamburgers. Johan used loops from Garageband to make the music and sound effects. It was released on Youtube in May the same year, but taken down and remastered and re-released August 19th 2016.
