This short reportage is sad. It is very sad in its irony. The way the moderators are trained like soldiers to believe they cannot make a mistake and the importance of that simple clicking gesture. From people they are turned into knights - both men and women - of the Internet, and like trigger happy police enforcers, they are there to protect the billions of underage minors from the perils of an uncovered woman nipple or the trauma of what seems to be an erect penis in somebody's trousers. Personal photos that would elicit some tens of views at best in half a decade have to be removed simply for the hysteria of a mostly white Western audience of dumpster divers wanting real hard to be offended. So ironic in so many ways. Luckily the action happens in India and there is no political candidate shouting about the strong and virtuous men and women ripped away from the joys of toiling in the blazing sun all day for a bowl of starch. Or maybe there is. Globalization goes both ways.
