Garfield: Una missione gustosa

I honestly can take this over the stupid live-action movies and the straight-to-video movies from the late 2000s. But I can't call this a good one either. The Garfield Movie is just a mediocre movie where I see that it does try to be a movie based on the character, but doesn't go as well as I hoped it would. I can see some effort with good animation and a little bit of heart, but it won't change how disappointing it was for the most part. All the movie can ever offer is a predictable plot, characters that don't live to their potential, and comedy that contains less of the funny ones for the style of the comics but a lot of unfunny ones for the pop culture references and unnecessary modern technology gags, which that would make the movie look like it's trying to be the modern version of the comics. While I don't consider this a bad movie, I won't see the rush of seeing this. But I'll say that it's a one time watch if you're a fan of the comics and the cartoons. If the sequel is ever set to be planned, I'll be up for it. But for next time, maybe make it more bigger for a Garfield movie, try not to have Garfield and Vic constantly arguing with each other, and make the characters a lot more interesting. And please, don't try to be modern.
