My Little Portal

My Little Portal is an interesting crossover between the Half-Life/Portal and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic universes. Debuting in 2012, this project has developed into a fascinating head-scratcher concerning its two plot arcs, one in the present and one from the past. Although this series began in 2012, during Season 2 or Season 3 of MLP: FiM, it surprisingly manages to retcon itself and allude to the show's later seasons in rather shocking and even disturbing means. An action-adventure series with a pinch of mystery and tragedy, My Little Portal is a comprehensive series with a clever universe of Easter eggs from many source materials that I found rather enjoyable. I should caution younger or sensitive audiences of the underlying dark storyline emerging as the episodes progress, starting from Episode 5 and alluded to in the previous episode. All in all, however, My Little Portal is positively entertaining and keeps me waiting for its next installation.
