Matt's first network television role was playing an Astronaut in
Mel Brooks' Matt Hotel (1989) - directed by the late Bill Bixby. He appeared on Another World, on Mel Brooks' The Nutt House, Columbo and Melrose Place.
Flynn directed a short film, then a documentary on race car driving prior to writing and directing his first feature film, Hack! (2007), out of Universal Studios.
