As David Cummings, was a member of with Scottish rock band Del Amitri from 1989 - 1996. Joining as the band released 'Waking Hours; Cummings went on to feature on their third and fourth albums, 'Change Everything' (1992) and 'Twisted' (1995), as well as on various tours - including an appearance at Woodstock '94. He left the band after their 1995 US tour to start a family and to concentrate on his script writing career. Del Amitri performed the end theme to the Paul Hogan film 'Flipper'.
