Scandal: Return to the Spotlight is a sequel to the smash hit Scandal: Secrets Behind the Red Carpet directed by Victor Vu from Vietnam that tells, once again, an ugly tale about what really behind the glamorous light of the show business and to my surprise so much better than the first one. If the movie wants to play safe they can keep the black magic aspect of the first one and I'm will still be fine with it but because this time the story loosely based on an actual horrific crime case in Vietnam from 2014 the "Cat Tuong Beauty Salon" and it way more terrifying and thrilling than I expected. The big twist of the movie this time although I can see it from miles away unlike the first one it still caught me by surprise with the grand finale.
