By 2004, Penthouse's heyday was over as a company while their videos became simple but polished affairs. 'PotY 2004' surprised me with a groovy level of explicitness and while that isn't found within 'Playoff 2005' it has the same look, feel. Likely shot at the same place as before with the same people involved behind the camera. The good news is hot Pets and enjoyable solo bits.
Standard montage intro, cheap title card (1 min) leads directly to 2005 POTY winner "Martina" Warren. This slender blonde hottie takes her time to strip down in the study from casual business wear. It took longer than I'd like to see her nude (3+ mins) but then the visuals pick up. First it's locking eyes on her boobs then kitty sometimes in closeup (7 mins). Then it's dark haired tanned beauty "Lannie" Barbie's turn solo outdoors as she gets wet for the entire length. She looks fantastic, but the views are sometimes obscured by the running water (4 mins).
Back inside "Natalia" Cruz (aka Sophia Santi) is by an unlit fireplace in a short dress. The sights of her butt peeking out are fine as is her entire body when the dress comes off completely. Nearly 2 mins in she's joined by Jassie Lewis (who oddly isn't identified onscreen here). Usual lite kissing, touching, fake oral proceeds (1.5 mins). In an odd choice "Jassie" now has her own solo getting out from a sleek black dress. Where the focus is evenly spread between her boobs, butt & shaved kitty (3 mins).
Back to Natalia in a red robe, bra, panties, high hells. Closeups right away make tattoos I didn't notice earlier standout. She ends up on the floor nude which grants one or two nice views in close (3 mins). Now a pool outside at night Martina & Jassie naked start going. Licking, feeling each other up and more fake oral (3.5 mins). Then it's time for Lannie & Natalia to go at each other already naked in a dining room. To change the routine whipped cream is applied and naturally licked off. I liked the visual dynamic of these two tanned brunettes together, but the scene never got as hot as I wished it would (6.5 mins).
We shoot back to Martina in a casual black dress for her second solo as she gets naked mainly sitting on the couch. It starts it's focus down belong and Martina looks wet which is a turn-on. Then it cuts to her laying out and she's lost the bra before it switches to her briefly on all fours before laying again (3 mins). Back outside in the sun, Jassie drops a white robe to reveal white lingerie under, but that doesn't last long before shots with only the stockings left on start. Started off standing but by the end is laying on a couch as she pinches her nipples, rubs her shaved kitty (4 mins). This scene dissolves boobs I knew immediately belonged to Lannie and then Jassie in this shower scene. First the soapy sights, then rubbing, tongue action, some licking (4 mins).
Lannie now solo once again appears in a see thru dress with a flower in her hair. Quickly her tasty tatas are on display and then she's sitting pulling aside her panties unleashing her vajayjay. Rubbing it, slight spread (3.5 mins). Natalia lays on a long chair in a hall in a blue & white dress before being joined by Martina in a red bra, skirt. May sound hot, but trust me it's been pretty tame up to now relegated to mostly boobs. Unfortunately it doesn't get much steamier before it ends (9 mins).
'Playoff 2005' in a lot of ways is your run-of-the-mill softcore title. It's worth a view and has yummy moments, but never reaches it's full potential. I thought the same of 'PotY 2005'. Tame girl/girl scenes that never get very spicy drag them down.
