Katherine Ryan: Parental Guidance

The show felt a bit like the Kardashians meets Louis' Weird Weekends. It was more low-key than either, but if you enjoy Katherine's brand of comedy, you will likely find laughs in this as well. Across the episodes, the show does a nice job giving the viewer an honest enough view of various families navigating life together. I'm guessing some of the drama between her own family members was done up a bit, but it kept me engaged. If it had just been interviews with eccentric families around England, I think we would have missed out on some of the most revealing insights into navigating life as a celebrity, which came from Bobby and her teenage daughter. It's not a life changing series, but you can do worse, especially on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
