No pun intended - also not "family" as in Fast & Furious ... no more like a romantic movie disguised in an action movie ... if this sounds like I was not impressed much ... well I was not impressed too much about it and with it. Unfortunately I was subjected to the trailer ... and that gave away the biggest action piece (which also comes early on) ... there is not much after that. There is a bit of humor ... I reckon I could have given it a 6 ... ah well, it is what it is.
Also the movie is ridiculous beyond belief ... if you care, you will rate this way lower, if you don't you may think I am being too harsh. I often talk about suspension of disbelief ... it just is way too much to deal with ... I reckon it is the humor of the script writer and/or filmmaker ... is it the same person? Forgot to check .. don't really care ... when we hear a throwaway joke about an undercover cop not being able to carry his badge ... just for him to tell a story where his partner (in crime) gets them into trouble for having a badge on him ... then you find out that their undercover assignment could have been done without them having to be inside a kitchen ... because there is a window where everyone can look inside the kitchen ... where by the way the big fight takes place ... and no one seems to see it on the other side ... have I mentioned how crazy this is? Anyway, make up your mind, but beware that the amount of action is quite minimal ... the way the Fast and Furious actor looks most of the time ... it feels like he regrets being in this movie ... anyway ... this could have been way more fun ...
