¿Para qué sirve un oso?

A nostalgic and attractive romantic comedy , it takes place at principality Asturias dealing with brotherly love , friendship , family relationship , promises and romances , being well performed by a good plethora of actors providing fine and charming acting . After spending various years in the Arctic , Guillermo (Javier Cámara) retuns Spain from freezing lands to get together his brother , the naturalist Alejandro (Gonzalo de Castro) whose schemes consisting in finding a Bear , as he wants to carry it out at whatever cost , but then things go wrong .

Enjoyable comedy dealing with a nature investigator who returns to Spain to see his brother , it contains emotion , sensitive moments, agreeable friendship , mother-daughter relationship , love stories , and lots of humor . The picture realies heavily on the peculiar relationship between the two brothers , but this one doesn't make boring , but entertaing. The picture also deals with interesting and engaging issues such as ecologism , environment , wildlife , family relationship , brotherhood , love and anything else . Qualified and grateful main cast as Gonzalo De Castro, Javier Cámara and Emma Suarez give splendid interpretations . As Javier Cámara as the ecologist brother who finds a plant-life in the Arctic and becomes depressed about the prospects of conservation , while Gonzalo de Castro , perhaps in their best interpretive work , is really obsessed with attempting to get photographic evidence of the presence of bears in the region and eventually falling for the attractive vidow and veterinary well played by Emma Suarez . They're well accompanied by a sympathetic and adequate support cast , such as : the veteran Geraldine Chaplin playing the elderly tutor who wields and shoots a fusil from time to time , her real-life granddaughter Oona Chaplin as a young teacher who romances the obedient helper ecologist performed by Jesse Johnson . In addition , the little daughter Daniela , played by the newcomer Sira García , as she performs with panache , easiness and lending great freshness and credibility , in spite of his fledgling artistic career . At the final of the movie telling the following one : In Asturias there are more than 100 brown bears living in freedom. The largest population is in the region of Camin Real de la Mesa , in whose natural spaces this film was filmed . This region is formed by the Councils of Belmonte de Miranda , Candamo , Grado , Las Regueras , Proaza, Quiros, Teverga , Santo Adriano , Somiedo , Yernes and Tameza . As well as colorful and evocative cinematography by Arnau Valls Colomer with wonderful natural outdoors from Asturias , Colomer has photographed important films , such as : Black Snow , Toro , The Fury of a Patient Man , Superlópez , and Jack Ryan series . The motion picture was well directed by Asturian filmmaker Tom Fernandez, adding a few self-biographic remarks . It got some awards and nominations , such as : Málaga Spanish Film Festival 2011 Winner Silver Biznaga Best Director : Tom Fernández , Best Supporting Actress : Geraldine Chaplin , Best Film Editing : Ángel Hernández Zoido and Nominee Golden Biznaga Best Film . Tom Fernández is a notorious writer and director as TV as cinema. As he has written series as ¨7 vidas¨, ¨Chiringuito de Pepe¨ and other Sitcoms .
