This series has some descent writing to hang on but it suffers from tiny mistakes and mismanaged ideas.
If you judge it only on writing, it is actually some descent story ideas.
The problem is that this series lacks a lot of good screenplay, it lacks cues, and even stakes.
Also the basic idea of this series is A-Team mixer with a GI Joe skin. The villains look okayish but they have a lack of character and personality. They could be anyone and you wouldn't know.
But the worst thing is the animation. It is all so incomplete and lacks lines and details. Do you want to see paint animation? If you watch it for 10 episodes then you might learn to get uses to it but when compared to the old animation from the 80s? Those are some big shoes to fill.
Also let's discuss about how this series takes half the Joe's you might have liked from the old series and turn them into parodies of their roles and parodies. It's like watching Romeo and Casanova turning into Johnny Bravo and Pepe Le Pew. So if you are a fan of a certain character from the original then you better forget them and love the A team that you get here.
To put it simply, this could have been a great series. Never cheap out on production.
