Mad Jaxxx: Beyond Thunderboobs

It was fun to compare this Skye Blue boob-fetish extravaganza with a larger scale but quite similar Elizabeth Starr exercise covering the same territory: "Faster Pussycat F*ck! F*ck!". Skye emphasizes the sex while Starr provides top-quality vintage cars running around the desert.

Skye sends up George Miller and his Mad Max franchise skilfully, with a nice motorcycle, customized dune buggy and a quad among the post- apocalyptic vehicles on display. Location is atmospheric, opening with a Kayla Kleevage sex scene high atop a scaffolding that is visually impressive (as are low-angle distortion shots of KK's knockers).

Marty Romano is very well-cast in the title role, acting as protector of the top-heavy women who survived a future apocalypse, perhaps silicone serving as their antidote to radiation. The sex scenes are hot and frequent, with Skye humping her teammate during this era Summer Cummings, who also collaborated on the script and fashioned the fetish gear costumes.

Sidelight is that after Summer ended her relationship with Skye she took up with Starr, and co-stars with her in the aforementioned tribute to Russ Meyer. The resemblance in the two directors' careers ends there, as Starr became enmeshed in increasingly niche fetish videos, while Skye has gone on to become perhaps the most prolific and respected femme director in Adult, helming an endless stream of product for Penthouse, Adam & Eve and previously the Playgirl labels.
