Back in 2022, Rita Blanco revealed in an interview that her character's romance with the character played by Diogo Martins ended because it wasn't well received by the audience. The actress finds it regrettable that Portugal is still a very puritan country where many people still are very judgmental towards a romance between an older woman and a young man. Rita also confessed that she's a little bit sad about it, because she thinks that Diogo Martins is a magnificent actor who is a very good kisser, in a technical sense.

Engaging story

Very engaging story about vengeance of a mother and daughter who were expelled from a little village after being blamed for the disappearence of a crucifix from the local Church. Rita Blanco, plays the main character - the daughter - who comes up with a project to build a dam that will sink the village and cause misery and discord. Great acting from Diogo Martins, her assistance, Sandra Faleiro, Alexandra Lencastre, Beatriz Frazão and Dânia Neto.
