Old school hoaxes

This collection of videos is from 2000, so not real sure why this says 2020 unless it was a re-release? All the videos shown are definitely from 90s camcorders, so the footage is obviously not great. A few are definitely obvious hoaxes from people who wanted attention, a couple look a little bit more believable, but the description calling this an "award-winning" program seems like a bit of a stretch. I did not do any further research on what award it may have won but I can only assume there were no other entrants to compete against. Overall, we had more fun lampooning the content and voice over than actually watching the film itself as a seriously reported piece of early 2000s video journalism.
