I often rely on the IMDB rating system to help me decide if a movie is worth watching. Typically, I consider a film with a rating of 6.0 or higher to be a safe bet. When I saw that this particular movie had a rating of 7.5, I assumed it would be a quality film. Unfortunately, I couldn't have been more mistaken.
The acting in this movie was painfully bad, with performances that felt wooden and unconvincing. It was as if the actors themselves didn't believe in their roles. Additionally, the story was overly simplistic and lacked depth. It seemed like the writers didn't put much effort into creating a compelling or engaging plot.
What was most disappointing, though, was the complete waste of potential in making the film either scary or suspenseful. Every opportunity to build tension or deliver a scare was squandered. Scenes that should have been filled with dread and excitement fell flat, leaving me feeling bored and disconnected.
Overall, I found the movie to be a significant letdown, especially considering its high rating. It failed to deliver on almost every front, from acting to storytelling to suspense.
