Bachmann originally edited a 33-minute version of the film, which also included some extensive footage and interviews with Fellini at home with Giulietta Masina. He then circulated almost always a version examined by Bachmann as definitive - probably due to interference and requests for cutting by Fellini - of 17 minutes, almost half of the previous one. This copy, recently found and never seen before, is more than 10 minutes richer, and corresponds to the original montage created by Bachmann.
