Everyday Maths

Those of us old enough to remember the teacher pushing a huge TV on a trolly in to the class for a weekly schools TV diet may well recall this.

It sticks in my head (despite my juvenile fear of arithmetic) for the many well known faces that cropped up.

Arthur (Motley Hall) English and Jack (Dodger) Wild head the cast as a Grandfather and and Grandson who live together and try muddle through shopping, budgeting and paying bills in a lighthearted manner.

They've probably all been wiped by the BBC but one episode is on You Tube, a reminder of school days long past and faces long gone.
