Knowing

This short film was done with very few words of dialog. A young man goes to a fortune teller and she tells him he will die on March 18, 2000. Years pass and now the man is old and the day is approaching. Oddly, this gypsy keeps appearing and disappearing to him and it has him totally creeped out. The closer the day approaches, the more he fears death.

Technically speaking, this is a well-made short film. The music is nice, the camera-work and acting are all just fine. The problem for me is that despite these good story elements, the finale just doesn't have any payoff. There is no ironic twist or compelling reason to sit and watch this film due to the flat ending.
