The literal translation of the title of this movie is: under the Yan-Hong Ridge.

Although this movie is classified into the family category, there really is not much you can say about it being "family", which itself is a rare case in Chinese film industry. Usually, the so-called family movies in post-revolutionary China are children's movie, not necessarily liked by the Chinese parents, and for most of time, they don't. However, this movie cannot even be classified as a children movie by Chinese standard because there really was enough material, instead, it is much more proper to call it a political propaganda.
