Well, I can speak from personal experience (as I was involved with the show from the first season to the third) and say that the show is not that bad.
I know, I know, I'm biased. In the beginning, even being a YTV show, I was still moderately able to enjoy it because I got to see the finished product of the work that we had done. Granted, I was overly critical about my performance, but it was still enjoyable to watch at most times. However, about the time the 3rd season aired, I really just stopped caring. Not so much because I didn't have much of a role in the season, but because it mostly seemed to be repeating the same things as it did in the first two.
That being said, I really enjoyed my time working on the show. The cast and crew were great, and I'll always be grateful that they gave me a chance to perform.
